Hope you had fun learning about food and exercise for optimum health, maximum energy and also, if sensibly applied,  will result in weight loss for those that need to shed some extra pounds.

Would you like to support the fight against heart disease by participating in National Start here at PhilaU?

Then please try to take two 15 minute walks or a 30 minute stroll on your lunch break or after work 3-5 days a week! In need of Co-Worker Peer Pressure - please support this cause!

Let make a pledge to encourage active and heart healthy together.  To sign up for the pledge, please e-mail davisr@philau.edu. Particpants who take the pledge will be posted here soon.

Do you want to locate a walking buddy? If so, please send an e-mail to add your name to the HealthyU Walking List which will be psoted soon to help facilitate connections (day/time/names/location/etc)!

Let's get active, HealthyU @ PhilaU enthusiasts!

Why should I participate?  Taking just 10 minutes three times a day to walk will help you live longer.  One hour of vigorous exercise will increase your life expectancy by two hours.  It makes sense to walk more + eating well = to live longer (like the sound of that)!
